Obviously the Democrats will have a post mortem but does this not show the whole establisment needs one? On both sides of the pond. Michael Moore the US left winger and Clinton Supporter correctly predicted this and labelled it the biggest FU in History, and yes it feels good. This and brexit surely must point to the fact that the people have seen enough of their liberal BS. Instead of trying to look at the issue the lefties predictably start calling the US electorate their silly names. Wake up!

yes mikey but surely labeling an entire electorate for not giving the "correct" answer is more serious.
Yes well all Trump voters and supporters are deplorable s.

Just another name to add to our list, mainly contributed to by Mickey.

Not to my mind. It shows that we need to educate our children (and quite a few million adults) better and enable them to see beyond soundbite headlines and think for themselves.

You appear to be in a euphoric mood about something potentially disastrous for the Western world, as you were post Brexit (and look where we all are on that one!).

Having said that, the Western world's politicians have been sent a clear message that unchecked immigration will not be tolerated, so hopefully something positive will result.

They say that when ther US sneezes we catch cold......what happens when it trumps? ;-)
I can't see the UK establishment having changed at all; May comes from well within it as do Boris and all the rest. And the establishment will still be in charge after Brexit. And then what do the voters do when things go wrong?
Trumps win is not disastrous and neither is Brexit.

The only problem we have with Brexit is being caused by Remoaners who cannot accept the result.

The liberal elite across the West are finally getting their cumuppence.
I don't want to make this all about Brexit but blaming remain voters for the current situation is just plain daft. At the ris of repeating myself, Brexit was never a simple process and it was made clear (if you cared to do a little digging) that we were entering unknown territory. The current legal situation typifies this.
YMB....the Government has decided to waste public money and time, by appealing the High Courts decision.

If Mrs May and her legal advisers had thought this all through properly before hand, they wouldn't be in the mess that are in now. Nothing whatsoever to do with "Remoaners"
The ordinary guy on the street interviewed by the BBC just summed it up:
I voted for Trump because he cares about America. Clinton is corrupt, a liar and a vote for her is a vote for the status quo.
Chilli....Trump only cares about himself and nobody else......he is on one of the biggest ego trips of his life.
In that case mikey it looks like an awful lot of the US electorate have opted to go on that trip with him!
Hold on tight, it's gonna be fun....
