stop spam e-mails?

I registered to test, give opinions, and take part in surveys for points to get discounts on goods.
However, I have been swamped with spam everyday, sometimes 30/40, so how do I stop them?

Have tried the usual, click here to stop anymore from being sent.

Look at the bottom of emails in the small print for an "unsubscribe" button or link.
all the click here thing does is confirms it as a live address and gets you more spam. set up your email account so that the spam goes into your junk email box (there is usually and option to mark it as spam or junk)
^^woof....trouble with that is....you risk something that isn't spam being junked....something important might not be seen.
Woof, I would normally agree, however in this instance it is something that trt has consciously subscribed to.
I read it that the sites he had registered on had sold his address elsewhere. gingel, dealing with the spam inbox is easy, you sort by “from” and then can delete in bulk without losing anything important.

I forgot to add that, whats the point of having a ''block'' for e-mails, when it never works, Im on hot-mail.
was the site you registered for e-rewards by any chance?
Change your email address and just tell people you want to hear from
If you can collect points, do you have an account somewhere? If so, there might be some communication preferences you can alter. Or unsubscribe altogether if you do not want to be involved.

Else, you could perhaps change the email address registered. You could either get a new one for this purpose or you might be able to set up an alias on the same account. If the latter, you can then set up a rule to put them all in one folder.
1, Go to official website of hotmail in your web browser.
2, Log into your account. ...
3, Click “Options” at the top right of the screen. ...
4, Click “More Options" You can find “More Options” at the very bottom of the pop-up box. ...
5, Click the link labeled “Filters and Reporting". ...
6, Select the level of filtering of junk mail.
