Do all direct injection petrol engines suffer from inlet port/valve coking issues or is it limited to specific engines, generally speaking?

Thanks, but does that actually help with DI engines as the fuel is not sprayed into the port/valve area? I know it works with port injection engines as the fuel is sprayed directly onto the valves and ports.
not really it's a quality of material issue. What car is it?

That's what I'm asking, indirectly. I know there are issues with SOME Mini and VW engines for example so are there likely to be problems with all direct injection gasoline engines in time?
