Can't Sleep - Re. Tram Crash

After yesterday's appalling tram crash which claimed 7 lives I cannot sleep or switch off. Our town is devastated. Not only do many have family/ friends severely injured but 7 people left their homes yesterday morning to go to work/ college- maiybe looking forward to Xmas to, and yet they didn't come home . Everyone I speak to is in a state of shock and I just hope that as a community we can help each other get over this ,

Something like this can really knock your socks off ..especially when it's local and you know the people involved its a whole lot worse ...

It sounds like an horrendous accident ...anyone involved will take a long time to get over it, if ever, and I'd look at counselling if I were you, it's obviously hit you very hard which is quite understandable. Take care xx

Just awful for everyone Smow. It will stay with you for a long time. That's why the community should be there for each other to work through it. Probably all down to one man driving too fast....

So sorry Smow, understand how you are feeling as we too have had a local tragedy that has affected many friends and family.

Pulling together is the way ahead IMHO.

It's been confirmed driver was speeding but he was apparently heard saying that he had blacked out. Yes passengers near him say he is only saying that after he realised what had happened. Either way seven people are dead. Just devastating.

Sleeplessness for many follow such tragedies, with time and support things will settle for some but never be the same for others.
