Marking Boiled Eggs For Timings
5 Answers
Does anyone have a good way of marking boiled eggs so that if you want to put one on after another and then boil one for a bit longer after you've taken the first one out? I use a permanent marker at the moment but not sure that's safe

Unfortunately I haven't used it yet and have just eaten so couldn't test it out for you but the reviews on youtube seem promising.

The reason for marking is that the kids have their egg in a cup were I have mine in an egg cup. So if we all want to sit down at the same time I have to cook all eggs for 6 minutes but I put theirs in first then mine in after 4 minutes so that I can take theirs out after 6 minutes and prepare them in the cup and when I've done that my egg will be ready to take out. Furthermore, if I'm having 2 eggs I'll maybe even need another mark on it so that it's freshly ready to take out around the time I'm finished my first egg. Phew!!
