How To Best Wash - Your Training Shoes ?

i have a lot of nike roche runners, i stupidly washed a pair in washer dryer on a low degree quick wash but they turned out shrunk and off colour, cannot afford to do that again, i have tried using a small brush with washing liquid but they dont come up clean, all pairs are all white mostly so i want to know how to effectivel;y wash them and keep them looking as much as new as possible.

Time was when shoes wear leather and all you had to do was not get around to polishing them. Now you have to not get around to removing the laces, brushing off dirt, sponging it off, putting it in bags and putting it in the washing machine. That's a heck of a lot to not get around to doing !
I take out the inners from my trainers, and then put them in the washing machine, on the "outdoor clothes" cycle. I never use the dryer cycle, but simply put them in the airing cupboard overnight, and I have never had any problems.
I do use a spray, like Johnsons Shout before I put them in the machine.
