Good Food show

Has anyone been to the good food show? Do you get lots of free samples? Is there anything I should know before I go?

There are not many food samples, but lots of wine samples to be had.Take a glass with you, because they charge you for glasses that you put round your neck. Take quite a bit of money, you'll never eat if you don't.

It's very good though and if you see one of the celeb demonstrations, even better!

I was lucky enough at the end of the show last year, to bump into Jean Christophe Novelli... who I had seen a demonstration from earlier that day.

Do you mean the one at the NEC? If so there's always a lot of free samples but you often have to fight for them and might need to pace yourself with the beer and wine...

I did mean the NEC one, but I would reckon that they would be the same.

there are lots of samples, but also loads of things to spend you cash on, watch the booze tho i came away skint and a bit on the merry side!
