...any more than we have.......and we know who to blame for that....!

My brother should have been with the birding group here in Portugal but had to go into hospital instead.....

My gadgets aren't working too well here....well my phone might if I had remembered to bring it....so I gave the contact numbers etc of the others to keep up with his progress.....

Portugal has many gardens alongside convents and churches. We found one and sat on a bench not far away from three nuns......but far enough...I don't go too near nuns these days....

J's phone pinged....Ahh....message for you, Gness...from your brother.....

I took his gadget and walked away......

An ideal pet for you...said the brother's message and I opened it.......It was a youtube thing of a blasted parrot spouting.....Hail Mary...Full of Grace....the whole lot! Holy Mary...Mother of God.....

Could I turn it off!!!!! I scurried back with nuns glowering at me convinced I was squawking the whole prayer as I scurried.......

Off out soon.....I ironed two shirts in exchange for dinner tonight....didn't let on I love ironing shirts.....made quite a fuss about it..... :-)

Hilarious Gness - bet they were "nun" too pleased to hear that! Didn't know you were in beautiful Portugal - we have just got back from Lanzarote and it's flipping freezing (and getting colder towards end of week) Have a lovely holiday, so sorry you've had the sad news of Shirley xx
