At the moment we are using Frontline on our cats.Is Bob Martin "Spot On"as good ?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Frontline spot on only used to be available from vets but you can buy it now without a prescription, but it is still stronger than Bob Martins. Frontline spray is still prescription only.
Proprietary treatment like Bob Martins and Johnsons that are available in pet shops do tend to be less effective, I suppose because people can buy them without any advice or knowledge and they don't want people to overdose them.
Just to warn you that we once treated our 2 cats with Bob Martins - one was absolutely fine but the other suffered a major allergic reaction. He was in the cat hospital for 2 days and had to be put on a sort of catty Valium as he was having fits. He did make a full recovery but it was very worrying - he lost a lot of weight and was still a bit wobbly for nearly a week! We now use Frontline or Strongline from the vets.
