Plymouth's motto is Turris fortissima est nomen Jehovah - "the name of Jehovah is the strongest tower", taken from the Proverbs of Solomon.

I've heard it's just been changed to;

BORIS I DOMUM !


[which appearently means "the person called Boris he goes to the house" or something.....]

Perhaps you are referring to the word RESURGAM, DA ?
This means 'I shall rise again' -following the blitz
destruction in WW2.
The word is carved into a lintel of a church in Plymouth.

read proverbs chapter 18 verse 10 and depending on the translation you will read that: the name of jehovah is a strong tower . this uses the divine name of god as did the original scriptures and was chosen by the city of plymouth but now discarded by the "good and great in control" .
