Mouse Judders....

....My mouse and keyboard were bought as a package (Logitech wireless). I use a mouse mat at all times but the problem is the on-screen curser judders about all over the screen and sometimes just disappears.This makes it difficult to hover or click on icons or anything else. Can anyone help me with this problem. Thanks.

If it's an optical mouse, try blowing in the lens hole. A hair or something like that waving around in front of the lens can have that effect.

thanks for the suggestion hc but scrolling up and down pages isn't the problem its the on screen curser that jumps about.

If it's a wireless mouse try plugging the receiver into a different USB port on your computer.
