Next year my son will be 40 I will be 60 and my Mum will be 80, and although our birthdays are different months, to be exact April, October and November, I would love to be able to celebrate it in some way, but not sure how, we live in different parts of the country, and a party doesn't really appeal, any ideas how we could celebrate without spending lots of money.tia

A 'cheapish' family holiday?
Send a card and a Bottle to your son, send your Mum a bunch of Flowers by Interflora. on the days of their birthday use Facetime on your Iphone should you have one also your Mum / Son.
Rent a cottage in a central location and have some lovely family time together.
A summer trip. A barging trip has always appealed to me. Nice relaxed days with pub visits along the way.
Caravan holiday, shop around for out of season.
