Flying Ants

How can I get rid of flying ants that keep coming into the lounge and conservatory through the skirting board?

I have tried ant powder but they kep reappearing. I have a cat so have to be careful what I use as well.

Oh how i sympathise with you...i have the same problem..horrendous. Everyday i have to vacuum up hundreds of them in my conservatory..the window ledges are covered in them..big, fat black things and millions of small crawling ones. I too have cats so have to be careful what i use. Please lets hope we get some suggestions. I am begnning to think theres a huge nest of thrm under the house. Urgh!!!!!!!!!!!

An ant bait station where the bait is inside a shoe polish tin sized trap, so it is accessible to the ants and covered from cat. You can get pre filled ones too ...
