Thanks for posting this, Tilly.
My maternal grandma was one of 6 sisters. She was the only one of the 6 not to get breast cancer, so she was very lucky. In those days there was no hope of a cure. Thank goodness that we now live in an age where many survive - if it's caught early enough.
