Getting Online

Are other people having trouble getting online here , I find it so slow at times and at other times it is unresponsive. I don't have any bother with other sites .

ISP is Internet Service Provider, who provides your wi fi, BT, Virgin, etc.
Browser is a search engine, Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox etc.

You are by no means alone. Are you using IE? If so, change to another browser ASAP.

Some browsers are better than others on smart phone.

Always have trouble with this site and no other. So it cannot be ISP or browser must be AB.
Lot about this on Eds blog a while ago. I rarely bother to try and post here - too much bother.

Gill, it isn't necessarily one or the other, it might be the way AB interacts with your particular browser on your particular computer. It's worth experimenting with different browsers, different antivirus programmes etc just in case.

Thanks, jno. Could give that a try. Strange it is only AB though. It's ok at the moment - sometimes cannot get a sentence down before it freezes.

I ALWAYS have problems with this site, sometimes takes me three attempts to get on! I just roll with it (as the saying goes) ...

A lot of the adverts on AB have caused problems in the past especially on IE.
I no longer see any adverts or have any problems, using CDhrome.

Yes, I have big problems. Sometimes I can try 6 or 7 times but 'this page is having trouble loading' very often I cannot get on all evening or I will get on, write something, then it freezes and goes and I can't get on again to answer anyone who may have replied. More than frustrating.

Also does anyone know why the font size suddenly went so tiny that it is hard to read a few weeks ago? Other sites are normal. I've wasted hours looking at a blue whizzing circle or typing things that then suddenly go dead and I cannon submit.
