Is There A Plumber In The House?
Why does my overflow overflow? Just noticed the highest overflow (attic) has a slow drip. Been in attic and can't see why this may be. Any ideas please?
Thanks in advance to anyone who replies.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.You say "highest", then presumably you have two tanks. If the tank you are refering to is the smaller of the two, it is the tank that feeds your central heating system. This means it is indeed possible/likely that the ballvalve is "passing",as gastwo suggests, but it could also be caused by a system problem i.e. pumping - over. If there is a separate control ( tap/valve ) to the tank in question, turn it off, and keep an eye on the water level in the tank. If the level continues to rise, it is not the ball valve, it's a system problem.
Hope this helps.
