Cucumber

Did we used to put slices of cucumber in gin and tonics?
The reason I ask is that I bought a bottle of cucumber and mint from the good food show that was recommended for a G &T. Somewhere at the back of my head I associate cucumber with a G & T.

In a Pimms, yes, but I don't remember it in G and T, and I've been drinking it for 40 years.

I quite like a cucumber sandwich though. Cut into triangles with the crusts removed of course.

This is made from pressed cucumber and mint, it is really good with a G & T.

i've not put cucumber in gin but i have had cucumber gin, which is very nice.

In fact you can have my bottle as I loathed cucumbery gin! It's not often I give away booze........
