My B/F was bought up in a family of farmers, gamekeepers, estate managers etc....he would love to move into a similar career, but these are specialist jobs and finding where they would be advertised is pretty hard! The National Trust website has a good section, but I was hoping that people here might have some good ideas, I suppose he is basically looking for any job that would involve working in the country, gamekeeping, Rural estate managing, land managing....any ideas, any at all would be gratefully received.

Why not contact 'Country Life' magazine, or any of the regional equivalents - 'Staffordshire Life', 'Cheshire Life' and so on? They may have a Sits. Vac. section - I don't know, I don;t read them, but if not, a cal to the Editor(s) may yield some advice of where else to look.

Excellent idea!
The 'Farmers Weekly' is definitely worth a try for all things rural. It's even on-line now.

Thanks Cetti
Farmers weekly is the way forward!!! You could also give DEFRA, the Countryside Agency, Environment Agency, or the Defence Estates Agency - all of these have a wide range of jobs in rural areas - especially the MoD/DEA
