How do you actually know if my headphones are real or fake?? I have bought a pair from ebay, cost £169.99 (why I didn't go to apple I don't know) as same price, mine have the SN on box and same SN on right earphone etc but I am worrying about it as keep seeing things about fakes and as I got them on ebay (seller had good feedback etc) maybe I am worrying unnecessarily? TIA

Sorry to be a "Bah Humbug" but I bought some Beats in-ear earphones a couple of years ago - they were fake. Luckily they didn't cost a lot but they did give up the ghost after a couple of months. Since then I have been very wary. Just hope yours are OK. Happy Christmas !!

Bottom line, if you're happy with how they sound (headphones are so subjective anyway imo) then enjoy them. Worrying about their authenticity 'after' you've purchased them is pointless.
Beats are not particularly good headphones, and waaaay overpriced.
You are paying solely for the colour, the word "Beats" and the hype.
So, as long as they look like Beats, it doesn't really matter whether they are real or not.
