Sorry for my tardy behavior. Indeed I have been stuffing my face with a lovely moist carrot cake made by my mega-talented daughter (and future Bake-off contestant).
Many thanks to Susan and all the lovely people on AB for all your kind words; I may not appear much on AB but I often peer in to see what's going on in the world.
Dad's taxi has an early start tomorrow (No.2 child, football) so I am off to bed... but thanks again for your kind wishes.
