LG Chocolate - I need an in car charger!!

I recently got the fabulous LG chocolate phone however the battery life isn't great. I can't get an in car charger for love nor money and I'm told the phone is so new that they aren't selling them yet. Does anyone know when one will be available and where I can get one??

This link says its coming soon! I hope so as I'm after one too - battery life really isn't that great. By the way, do you know how to solve this problem? Every time I either make or receive a call, the phone needs to be open which obviously activates the touch pad. My cheek touches the touch pad and cuts off the call! Any ideas how to stop this???

Thanks for that. I went into the carphone warehouse the other day and they said it could be up to 4 weeks before they bring one out. I mentioned that it was a great phone apart from the battery life and the guy said he thought it was fine as he has one himself although leads of people have been going in to ask the same question.

You can make calls without opening the phone. If you press the volume key twice on the side of the phone it unlocks the keypad for you to go into your contacts and make a call. Unfortunately you can't do this with a unprogrammed number, it's just a bad design fault.

I am having the same problem. After searching the internet i have found you can get a USB Car Charger Adapter, this then enables you to use the USB cable supplied with the phone to charge it in the car. This item can be found from www.mobilefun.co.uk. I hope this helps
