maternity leave and teaching
1 Answers
My maternity leave - 6 months - is due to finish in the middle of the summer holidays. I can't actually go into work so does that mean that I can't get paid until I go back in September? I understand that I could go in for 1 day in July and get paid for the holidays but what if I don't want to do that?

If you have to go in for the last day of term to get six weeks worth of pay I think it is worth it (you could probably take the baby with you) - I also think that you only have to be there for half an hour or so and then you can say that you don't feel well! Good luck
