Yes, chickens will eat mice. They are very partial to all insects and I remember my uncle decided to keep chickens and bought them before he had build a coop so put them in his finch aviary. I used to throw all the slugs and snails into my next door neighbours garden (at her request) and you should have seen the chickens rush to eat them. Earlier this year I went to a nearby farm to pick apples. I had just had a pedicure and had purple toe nails and was wearing sandals. The chooks went mad and were pecking at my toes so I was dancing round the orchard like a lunatic.
