Mouse 'jumping' On Screen!
8 Answers
Hi
My Acer laptop works fine but recently there has been a problem with my wireless mouse.
When I am using it and trying to click on something to the right of my screen it keeps jumping across to the left and as I again bring it back to centre or right it does the same!
I eventually get it to hover over the correct position and it works ok say to close a page. Cannot discover what is wrong. Help anyone?

It's also worth having the receiver plugged in to the laptop as close as you can to the mouse to avoid random radio signals affecting things. If you can plug the receiver into a USB port at the same side of your computer as the mouse it might help.
Thanks both of you. Yes it is a new mouse of a different make to usual. Batteries are new and the transmitter is plugged in to usb port a foot from the laptop.
I will revert to my original mouse and try that - also try both in a different usb port (I only have two on the Acer laptop and one has a blue surround which I understand from my manual is also for charging items whilst my laptop is switched off!
Thanks
