Do you like the event?

What do you like about it?

Are children's "WANT"S got out of control?

Do I like the Festive season?

I do until I read about the evil in the world.

Afternoon, Sweetie...... I love the atmosphere at Christmas.....and all the bling and decorations and sharing. I don't have any I wanters in my life so present giving and receiving is fun and not over the top. I have a sadness this year for a few reasons including knowing I won't be having fun chats and silly exchanges with MrsO and Psybbo......I miss them both...

Love it.
Christmas day, lavish meal with the family
New years eve, lashings of g̶i̶n̶g̶e̶r̶ beer with friends.

I've even got rid of half my gym building to host this years party.
Used to love it, but as you get older and lose loved ones, it doesn't have the same impact, sadly.
Bazile....now that is what I call positive thinking....well done !
Oh, Baz...you are nice and cheery.....♥
Bazile for BA !
Well I'd give him a peck under the mistletoe, Mikey......just for not being a grump......x
Sigh
.....and two pecks for not sighing......x
Peck me...
mikey

\\Bazile for BA !\\\

This has crept into AB over the years and in my opinion is clearly nonsense, unacceptable and must cease.
BA is only in the province of the OPer and if BA are to be taken seriously, so it should be.
BA by a poster means usually that they agree with the sentiments of the poster whose post is being submitted for the BA.

Why not just say "I agree" OR "Good post"...but please desist from this pernicious habit that has crept into AB as " So&so for BA"
It is unnecessary meaningless and irritating.
As you're never a grump......just a little peck.....x
Many things are 'unnecessary meaningless and irritating'...
Mmmm.......unnecessary and meaningless certainly.....I don't waste time on irritation.....but I do feel a wee bit sorry for grumpy folk......x
Sqad....the remark was meant lightheartedly, which I am sure you knew.

Lighten up....its bloody Xmas !

The reason I have given Gness the BA say's it all because of a lasting tribute to Mrs O & Psybbo, 2 persons that has given this site a very good understanding of life, be thankful you have your health & stop moaning, ME included.
Thanks, TWR.....and yes......two ladies who should still be with us.....who were fun and kind and never, ever grumped and moaned.....x
I 100% agree with sqad

Sqad for BA
pulling crackers and stuffing, i´ll say no more
Was in Asda today and from the heaped up trolleys you would think shops are going to be shut for a month instead of only 1 day. Maybe they're all going to have BIG parties though - and if so, where's my invite?
So true about the trolleys overflowing and why all the bread???? I like Christmas because of the grandchildren but as the number of believers diminishes, so will the magic. Five year old has done her letter to FC and put it into the fire to go off to the man himself, she had a PS that she wanted to sponsor a poor child and a giraffe!
