Good Ol' English Cops

After constantly being bombarded by all shades of bad news, I was pleasantly given a happy story by my brother after he'd changed the shape of his car en route to work. Seconds later, along comes a Noddy Car. Out jumps a policeman -- which he didn't fancy -- and a police-woman, which he did fancy! They immediately arrange alternative transport and helped him transfer a boot-load of Christmas goodies and phoned his insurance company. Good ol' English Cops. (I did not learn whether he will be meeting the Dolly-Bird copper...)

I've found most....most....British policeman really nice and helpful, Gl.....

Yes there is the odd numpty who's a bit above himself and shouldn't be in the job........but I've always found them friendly and willing to help beyond what they're employed to do......and more than willing to understand why I was driving a little bit faster than I should have been.......☺
