Content Aware

As I only have PSE7 I am unable to access the above,can anyone please suggest a way of obtaining a safe free download of this capability.Thanks.

To the best of my knowledge, there's no way of installing the Content Aware Fill with the 'Essentials' versions of Photoshop; it only works with the 'full' (CS) versions.

All I can suggest is using GIMP instead of PSE (which gives you the equivalent of a 'full' version of Photoshop without costing you a penny)

Thanks BC,I was getting worried when no answers came.I've d/loaded Gimp.Do you could "talk" me through the plug-in procedure please?I just can't see where to start

Download this file to any convenient location:

Double-click to unzip the folder.

Double-click on the resulting folder to open it.

There are 12 files in there but you don't need the text documents. Select the other 10 (e.g. by holding Ctrl down while you click on each one in turn). Once they're all highlighted, right-click on any of them and select 'Copy'.

Now go to Computer > C (Drive) > Users > [your username] > .gimp-2.8 > plug-ins. Once there, right-click and select 'Paste'. Close the Window.
