Mobile Phone Wireless Charging Pad
1 Answers
I've been bought one of those wireless charging pads to use with my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. It's a generic pad and not a Samsung made device.
My mobile phone is enclosed in a thin plastic fold-over type case to protect the screen. On the inside front of the case, there's the usual slot to keep a credit card etc. It looks something like this:

I've kept my bus pass in the slot for a few months now. I understand that the bus pass has some sort of chip inside it for the ticket machine on the bus to recognise it.
I'm just wondering if the wireless charger pad is likely to cause any damage given that it is in close proximity to my bus pass ie perhaps make the bus pass unrecognisable to the bus ticket machine by messing up the chip?
I'd appreciate any thoughts on this. Thank you.
