I think we're all being a tad harsh on coldstream - he/she only wants to watch the funeral of someone he/she admires.

Why are people so angered by the question. If you don`t want to watch it then don`t. Coldstream - I seem to remember there was quite extensive TV coverage of Cilla Black`s funeral on the news so there may well be the same with George Michael

Coldstream i for one am gutted at George Michaels passing. in the 80s i was so in love in the days of big hair and hairspray and then i realised what a brilliant artist he was and his music will live on for years. state funerals are few and far between and to be honest i wouldnt want it for someone i loved. remember him for how great he was x

coldstream - as advised, it is not remotely likely that the entire funeral will be televised, not least because I am sure his family would not wish it to be.

But there will be news coverage, or, if you are determined to see the whole thing, you have the option to attend in person if the service is open to the public.

If this this happens, I am sure the latter will be televised - at least some of it. Or perhaps you could attend Coldstream. I would watch it and not out of morbid curiosity.
