Isn't this the very saddest news item ? Recently, I posted that theses triplets were going to be home for Xmas, and now their poor Mum has passed away.

What on earth could have happened ?

Perhaps in the coming days we may find out.

What a tragic story - I hope that the Dad is given support and is able to give these babies a wonderful life in their mum's memory, despite such a terrible start.

Sadly this story has been overshadowed by celebrity deaths, not that they aren't tragic too - but this is the first I have read about this

It would almost be better to say nothing, rather than issue a statement that says "unexplained but not suspicious".
it is almost inviting an unhelpful guessing game.

Just a suggestion. This lady had Type 1 diabetes and also pre- eclamptic toxaemia and triplet deliveries.......all high risk factors during pregnancy.
I don't know the statistics but women still die of P.E.T in the UK, even in the post natal period, in the western civilized world.

She could have had a cerebral bleed (stroke) or heart attack and this will only be discovered at post mortem.

Then PET would not seem to be an issue....so one is confined to one of the complications of her diabetes....stroke or heart attack.
