If you look at this website, find Heathrow and zoom in a bit you can tick "traffic cameras" and get up-to-date pictures of the roads around there. Looking at it, it looks like te fog has cleared but they were saying on TV earlier that there are delays due to backlogs.

I should have added Khandro, here in Reading, about 30 miles west of Heathrow, the fog has cleared.

I really think she would be better abandoning the trip, but unfortunately, her baggage was checked in yesterday afternoon. Looks possible that we might all be spending New Year in airports, her in Heathrow and me in Stuttgart!

As far as I can tell jourdain, she is still in Heathrow hoping for a flight very soon.
She left home (Cirencester) yesterday morning, poor thing.
