"pay" For A Nanny On Holiday
9 Answers
My daughter started a job as a nanny to a family with two children. She is on a 40 hours/week salary but there is flexibility on both sides, ie the parents can ask her to work in the evenings/weekends and any hours over the 40, she is paid, "overtime."
They are taking her on a "holiday" for a week in June, for a week in, Portugal.
Does anyone have any idea what she should expect/ask for, in terms of her pay?

She needs to have the expectations of her clarified...either she works at night with the baby in her room and has the days off (night shift pays more of course) that also means that her room is a no go area for any one else except her during the day. I fail to see why the parents can't have the responsibility for their child at night. She really must get it made clear... and decide if she wants to do all this.
