Lower Eyelids

In the inner corner of both lower eyelids there is a small dark 'spot' (could be a tiny hole of some sort?) that you can only see if you pull the lid down slightly. Does anyone know what they do/are for?


Is a little hard to explain what I'm on about, but maybe someone understands?!

Oh right, interesting! Where does the actual eye liquid come from? I imagined tears to come out from tear ducts....do they not?

eyes don't need a drain.


and if they did it wouldn't be above the eye, and have to travel sideways, would it?


they are tear ducts. they release tears.
