"Shortly after this case was heard, a 64-year-old man was arrested at Southend Waitrose for using a Parent and Child space with his 41-year-old son.
A fellow shopper said: ‘I can’t see how this will ever be progressed through the Crown Prosecution Service. None of the signs stipulate a minimum age.’"

I sympathise
I was in a restaurant with four other rowdy and loud OAPs ( we are all deaf ) and sundry grown up kids
and the waiter said - now what would you like sir ?
and I said "the person you are addressing as sir is the mother of this strapping young man (of 25)."
[ no one turned a hair and we went on ordering ]
a real 'would you like to borrow m y glasses?' moment
