i have just put in a new colour and blck cartridge in my epson c42 printer,and its showing that there is nothing there can any1 help plz

Is there not an Epson printer management application you can run to inform the printer that you have changed the cartridge? It is also used to clean the print heads and check for cartridge alignment.

Are you using Epson cartridges? If not, it could be that the printer simply doesn't recognise them.
