Hi just got one of these comp and after setting it up i found that the keyboard wont let me type in @ - this is a tad annoying when emailing. Tried another keyboard that i know works fine and this also wont let me type @. There must be a setting conflict on set up any ideas how i can rectify it.
Cheers

This happened to me on another keyboard i found my @ on the number 2,
I think you will find your keyboard is set for 'American' try changing to 'english'

Hi how do i set the keyboard from american
kinglock - first you need to confirm it is a UK Keyboard you actually have.

Is there a sign on it? (should be above the 3)

Look here for Keyboard Layouts
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keyboard_layout

If you don't have a UK Model Keyboard it causes some problems, if you do then its into Control Panel to alter the Regional Settings.
