Harbours and Ports

Can anybody tell me what the difference is between a Port and a Harbour? As i am trying to verify which is the deepest Natural of both and thought maybe if i knew the difference then the answers i have been given on my previous question will be clearer.

I may be wrong, but a harbour is a semi circular (or almost)area which is sheltered from the worst of the elements a port is usually straight or angular and is usually much bigger than a harbour.

A pontoon is a floating structure used to make a dock, or used to support a temporary bridge. These were often used during military conflicts.

A marina is a man made structure often built along rivers for the mooring of boats. Also can be found within some coastal harbours.

a habour is simpaly a safe mooring or pontoon for a vessil. a port is an area near the sea which export and import takes place of vairous goods or cargos
