The point is NO UK government has EVER had to stand in open court and tell us what their secret service has been up to! Now unless the supreme court say the case can be heard in secret ( hardly possible) they are going to have to do just that

the usual torture ( standard I mean ) is water boarding
which is putting a towel over your mouth and nose
and pouring water onto it until you drown
