No stoodur, I have a ceramic hob, not the induction. But I don't have any ceramic cookware except for some bowls I bought in SK, and I want to make a recipe which calls for putting them on the hob. All the YouTube recipes I have seen they use gas hobs. So I wondered........I don't want them to explode, but there again, heat is heat. Thanks anyway and smurf .
It's best to use a normal saucepan, or one that is recommended for the ceramic hob.Years ago, I thought the same (heat is heat) but found out the hard way, when the casserole (Arcopol) that I put on a low heat on the hob cracked.
It is not recommended to use ceramic cookware but yes you can. There are a lot of cookware which are microwave oven safe. But to ensure your ceramic hobs remain in great condition and easy to clean, we recommend heavy gauge coated aluminium or hard anodized stainless steel pans with a thick base.
