Did someone request no publicity with the Bare Bones crossword?
The winner for puzzle no. 768 is XXX, of XXX, XXX.
A bit OTT for a couple of reference books I thought.

I've Reported this thread.
I've got several templates on my computer where the name (or other details) of a person/company I might want to write to, or the amount that I want to invoice them for, is substituted by 'XXX'. I suspect that the MOS has similar templates and that someone has simply forgotten to replace 'XXX' with the relevant details.
I'm cross ;-)

think it should have said mrs mallyh. the amount I've spent on stamps over the years I could have bought a library full of reference books lol x
Question Author
Well I hope it isn't me, I won these about seven years ago.

I spend a fortune on postage, tomorrow I am posting 7 crosswords. Yours magazine, Skeleton, You magazine, Mail on Sunday Gk, Sunday Express, Candis and Barebones.
Mallyh, my OH says the same thing.
I used to spend loads on stamps and never won a thing. Now, I only enter if I can do so by email.
I've since won the EV in the Telegraph twice. Now I've got two lovely fountain pens and notebooks, none of which I've ever used.
It's nice to see your name in print, though.
Question Author
I'm still waiting for my £100 cheque for winning the skeleton at the beginning of January.
