Router Charger Plug

Talk talk router plug wire dodgy - found replacement online but can I get one in a shop anywhere as I need it asap.

Do they use special plugs ? I'd have thought that their routers used standard cables bought many places, don't they ?

It's got a specific code on it so presume it has to be that one? Would a computer shop have one, or even Tesco?

Have you thought of asking Talktalk? They might send you a new router.
They did for me when mine played up..

It will be a standard cable the 'code' will just be a part number any ethernet lead will do.

Having difficulty visualising the plug. One rarely needs to replace a plug. Do you just need a new Ethernet cable ? They are very common and any shop selling PC stuff should have them.

It's a DSL 3680 and the wire is broken at the plug end giving a loose connection. Really need one tomorrow if possible.

So it's the power lead. It looks fairly standard but couldn't say for sure. Do you have a local Maplins or similar ?

12 volt ac/dc adaptor power supply for Talk Talk DSL 3680 router. One on eBay.

It's likely any dc power supply with universal connector adapters, the right voltage, and an equal or greater current would suffice. But your warranty could be compromised. Maybe best to wait.

But you could phone local PC shops and ask tomorrow morning if they have the real McCoy.
