My Dad used to sing this to me when I was little but I only remember the first few lines.  Sadly my Parents are both dead, so I can't ask them.  Though I have heard a brief rendition it recently on TV sung by Paul Robeson.

Loolla, loola, bye, bye

Dosn't want the moon to play with

Or the stars to run away with..

Verse
Oh, my baby, my curly-headed baby
And sing a song to the moo-oo-oo-oo-oon
Oh, my baby, my curly-headed baby
Your daddy's in the cotton fields
A-working for the coo-oo-oo-oo-oon

Chorus:
So, lulla, lulla, lulla, lulla, bye bye
Do you want the moon to play with
The stars to run away with
They'll come if you don't cry
So, lulla, lulla, lulla, lulla, bye bye
In your mammy's arms be creeping
And soon you'll be a-sleeping
Lulla, lulla, lulla, lulla, lullaby
Hi, funny isn't it, my mother used to sing the same lulla bye to me and my brothers. I have also been looking for ages to find out all the words to the lullaby. Seems there isn't much on the internet about it at all. I see Someone has posted you some of the words, but is that all there is ?
My dear late father sang this to me, and I sing it to my grand-daughter:
Ohhhhhh my babby, my curly-headed babby,
Just shut your eyes while momma sings a song to de moooo-oo-oooo-oo-oon.
Ohhhhhh my babby, my curly-headed babby,
Your daddy's in de cotton fields, a workin for de cooooo-oo-oooo-oo-oon.
So tula lula lula lula bye byes, does she want de moon to play wid?
Or de stars to run away wid? Dey'll come if you don't cry.
So tula lula lula lula bye-byes, in your momma's arms a-creepin,
And soon you'll be a-sleepin' lula, lula lula lula lula byes......
Yes I have a longer version of this . My darling mother sang it to me when I was young and I have sung it to my children and now my grandchildren. I only found your message now as my little granddaughter wanted me to write all the words for her. If you are still interested I could send to you or put them on this page. Regards Joy
LULLA BYE BYE

So, lulla- lulla, lulla-lulla, bye-bye,
Does you want the moon to play with?
Or the stars to run away with?
They'll come if you don't cry.
So lulla-lulla, lulla-lulla, bye-bye,
In your Mammy's arms come creepin'...
Soon you'll be a-sleepin' ...
Lulla; lulla, lulla, lulla, lulla, bye"

Go to sleep my little Piccaninny
Bear or fox will catch you if you don’t
Slumber on the bosom of your old Mammy Ginny
Cause Mummy’s going to squash you if you don’t

So lulla lulla lulla lulla bye bye
In your Mummy”s arms come creepin
And soon you’ll be a sleepin
Lulla; lulla, lulla, lulla, lulla, bye"
