Ok so I need 37 sq metres of oak laminate flooring

Unless you're incredibly lucky (and, say, just happen to find a company that's closing down in a few days time) you won't beat four or five pounds per square metre. So go for one of those offers. (I checked other suppliers, such as CarpetRight, and none of them come anywhere near matching those prices).

B&Q's cheaper stuff starts from around £4 or £5 per square metre but you might need to pay perhaps £7 to £10 per square metre to find something your really like:
