Kitchen Mixer Tap
7 Answers
Hi, I fitted a Deva kitchen tap two years ago and the cold water side has started to play up.
When I removed the handle I found a white nylon circular toothed cog, which sits on the supply valve, appears to be worn on the internal teeth, thus not operating the 1/4 turn valve properly.
I've had a look at Toolstation and Screwfix but can't find the sort of item I'm after. As the unit is otherwise still in very good condition, I wouldn't want to replace it for the sake of a small plastic cog!
I also looked on Deva spare parts website but didn't see any there either, but I'm sure these must be a regular items to fail.
Could anyone point me in the direction of where I might be able to source a replacement?

The life expectancy of a tap is much more than 2 years; I would contact either the shop you bought it from or Deva and see what they have to say.
