why does my internet history keep displaying Amazon browser apps when ive never been on Amazon?

My web browsers are always set to 'never remember history', so there's never anything shown there anyway.

However many sites work with Amazon in some way, including this one. (That's why a link to Amazon on here gets changed to read 'Amazon Recommendation'). So it's probably just a feature of some of the sites which you've visited.

currently on Firefox ummmm....

Click the 'hamburger'. (Three lines, top right).
Click Options, then Privacy.
Change the History setting and close the tab.
