how can I lift a text message from phone to obtain print out...only audio and photo is showing when I connect to lappie

On my iPhone I copy a message and then paste it to myself via email and then reading the mailed message, I click on the bottom arrow to Reply / Forward / Print. HTH

To get the screenshot on my phone I press the home button and the button to turn off the phone/close the screen together to get the screenshot.

Oops! Pressed send too soon, it has the time, battery etc... at the top of the screenshot so not just an image of the text itself, it's the whole of the phone screen.
