Outlook Email Not Working Via Mobile

My partner uses Outlook for email. Until two days ago she could send/receive emails fine via PC or Mobile. For reasons unknown, when she checks outlook now via the outlook app on phone, it shows her all emails received up to 27th, but no recent ones that can be seen via PC. If she tries to send an email via phone it simply displays "sending" which stays on the screen for ever. If she checks out her emails via GMail app, she can view all the emails. Should we just uninstall the Outlook App and try reinstalling to see if problem goes? Thanks
