Can anyone enlighten me on what's supposed to have happened here?
A 16 year old dog has died , badly neglected???.
As the dog lived to the ripe old age of 16 how was it neglected? 16 equates to 113 in human years ( multiply by 7)
Are you saying it should have been 'put to sleep' a few years back? That it was cruel to keep it alive so long?
JJ I really do not understand where you are coming from on this, and judging by the comments neither does anyone else!

A dog (Pablo) lived nearby and JJ says he was neglected.

He has died and she is relieved he is being neglected no more.

She reported it and nothing was done - equally she doesn't want them to get a new pup.

I still say a dog that was neglected could hardly live to the age of 16 !
That is way past the average life span.
I think J J has got 'the wrong end of the stick' here! unless as I said she thinks it was cruel to keep it alive so long rather than putting it to sleep!
