Powdered Soup In Cabin Baggage

I'm flying with EasyJet tomorrow to Spain. I love my cup-a-soups. I drink them while other people are having tea or coffee.

Can I take some in my cabin baggage? I can't see how it could be used as a weapon, unless I try to throw it in the pilot's eyes, so I'd think it should be ok.

I've looked on EJ's website and can't find a definitive answer.

Cuppasoups are powders aren't they? It is liquids, more than 100 ml that are forbidden. To make us buy drinks at inflated prices I think.

It's just that OH watches all these programmes about foreign airports who fine people for bringing in food.
I wondered if powdered soup counts as food.

Anyway, I'll risk it :) What can they do except take it off me?

You can take powdered soup into the US and even they don't quibble about it. There certainly won't be a problem within Europe

Why take it Cloverjo Mercadona Supersol and Maxi Dia sell Knorr packet soup the usual ones and others Plus their own brands which I have found really good.

Jo...these can't take up much room....put them in your hold luggage. But wherever you are going, I am sure the local supermarket will stock them anyway !
