External DVD writer

Hello can anyone recommend an external DVD writer. I don't want to spend any more then �50, but would like it to be fairly fast and reliable.

Rubbish emails.

I bought a 5.25 external enclosure and put an internal drive in it. This was very straightforward to do, even for a dummy like me, and it gives you far more choice as to what drive to purchase. I would buy one that includes Nero software although some people prefer others. An enclosure would also allow you to choose connections (USB, Firewire or both) and to use it for a hard drive if you ever need to. I will add some links here after I've browsed my usual sites.

looks pretty good to me. had a LG drive for years, and still works great.
